Their shopping cart system conducts order totalling on multiple orders, PST and GST calculations. Sales staff receive a formatted e-mail with order enquiries. If they wished, the cart system could easily be integrated with PayPal or other online, real time credit card processing services.

This original web site, which was also built by Simcoe Media Group, has been re-engineered to allow the builder to manage three (3) different web sites from a single browser-based interface.

Using our custom Content Management System (CMS), the builder can manage separate web sites for its Barrie and Innisfil developments, along with a separate customer area - using a single interface. Using a pop-down selector, the builder can pick which site it wishes to edit, adding pages, or posting model descriptions and pricing, complete with elevation sketches and floor plans.

The models are then sorted and displayed on the public side of the web site by subdivision and by lot size. The system is flexible – so that the developer can add new subdivisions to the web site using the CMS as ground gets broken on new communities – or delete subdivisions as developments get sold out. Models are displayed in an easy-to-browse table arrangement, sorted by lot size, including information like Model Name, Style, Square Footage, Number of Garages and Price. Visitors click the model name to see a full-sized sketches and floor plan images. Using our customer interface, the manager can change information on individual models or put through bulk price changes from a single page. They can also flag a model as being sold out and turn it on and off from the CMS.

The Pratt system also includes a unique service, where customers are provided with their own unique user ID and password which is set up in the central CMS. Using this private access information, clients from outside the area can log in and monitor the progress of their new home, as it is being built!

Sales staff post frequent updates & pictures during various phases of construction phase and along with information about when building permits are issued, when basement footings are poured, when framing is complete - down to the final occupancy dates and information. Using this system customers are able to monitor progress remotely without having to make the drive up from Toronto, or elsewhere.

It comes with an attractive Flash header and re-design. Using an easy-to-use, browser-based Content Management System staff of the GBHBA are able to manage two sites - the publicly accessible web site at www.gbhba.on.ca, plus a private members area where they are able to tailer a separate site for members.

The CMS comes with our internally developed Dynamic Page Builder which features unlimited pages and a Microsoft Word styled .html editor. Staff can create pages at will, pick from a couple of different pages arrangements or templates within the central design or theme, upload pictures, create links - basically anything they could do with a professional WYSIWYG .html editor. As well, staff are able to post breaking news to a dated press release manager on the right hand-side of the web site.

One of the many unique features about this site is that picture notices automatically get their own on-line guest book, where members of the public can drop in and leave their comments.

There is also an on-line service directory that can be used to link death notices with the specific funeral home where the deceased is resting or a birth announcement to a specific hospital. Dynamic, catalogue web site for the head office of The Original Flag Store in Barrie, ON Canada. Using a suite of browser-based tools, the web administrator is able to add pages, or maintain products on their web site without any special software, or without having to learn .html. They use their browser interface to create new products, and upload pictures taken with a digital camera. Unique cuing function, for clients not ready for a full-blown shopping cart. Visitors navigate through the site and cue products as if it were a shopping cart – that information is then passed on to the structured information request form, so the visitor does not have to remember any product details or price. It can be integrated with PayPal, or any regular credit card authorization service.

This fun site was created for a Wasaga Beach karaoke company. The site's owner is able to manage just about every aspect of the site with a browser interface, such as, add pictures any time he wants, update and manage his song library, change his show schedule and even is Top 10 song list. The picture upload function uses its own scaling tools, so all the client has to do is browser his hard-drive to find and upload the .jpg image. The software sizes the image to fit a preselected size. The client uses the site to manage song-titles from three different libraries, which he is able to print and distribute at shows for clients to pick from his song selection.

On-line newspaper classified display system for the Simcoe County Division of Metroland Printing, Publishing and Distributing. The system is used to display classified ads for five Simcoe County newspapers including the Barrie Advance, Alliston Herald, Collingwood/Wasaga Connection, Midland Mirror and Orillia Today newspapers.

System includes a browser based import function to upload a delimited text file generated by the Baseview Classified ordering system. Can me modified to handle imports from Informatel and other manual systems.

Adds can be displayed as an aggregate from all five newspapers, or as individual newspapers. Current ads are moved to the ad archive, whenever a fresh import is made. Archive active for 32 days. Users can search by drilling down into specific sections and categories (i.e. Help Wanted, General Help), or by doing a keyword search. Current ad totals are displayed dynamically beside each ad total so visitors can easily tell how many current ads are in the system.

This module allows newspapers to accept classified word ad orders over the Internet and publish them in their newspapers or on-line. The system generates word ad quotes based on number of words in the ad and number of insertions in your newspaper(s). Quotes based on base words and additional words. Pricing configuration can be customized to accommodate users needs. Once installed, a flexible, browser-based system to allow clients to change pricing on the fly over the Internet. The quoting/payment module can be integrated with a secure, credit card payment service (MiraPay, Cybercash, PayPal etc.) or generate orders via e-mail, depending on the customer's capability. Successful ads can be imported, cut-and-pasted or typeset into existing ordering system.
